Our Roadmap Of Developing The Project
1. Vector Embedding for Personalized Music Curation
In the initial phase, we focused on embedding music features like BPM, tempo, and mood to create highly personalized playlists. The goal was to leverage vector embedding technology to ensure music dynamically adapts to real-time biometric data and user preferences. This feature aimed to improve user engagement by providing the perfect soundtrack for each workout session, enhancing motivation and performance. The milestone for this phase was achieving seamless and accurate music recommendations based on embedded music data.
2. IDesign & Prototyping Phase
Next, we integrated the Spotify Web API to access their extensive music library. This integration allowed us to pull personalized music tracks based on individual workout needs and preferences. It also enabled the creation of custom playlists, which could be saved and modified by users. The objective was to provide users with endless music options, ensuring variety and personalization. The milestone was to offer an expansive and customizable music experience powered by Spotify’s robust catalog.
3. Terra Integration for Real-Time Biometric Data
One of the key features in the MusicBoost app was integrating Terra’s API to collect and analyze real-time biometric data, including heart rate and activity intensity. This allowed the app to adjust music dynamically based on the user’s physiological state. The milestone in this phase was to develop a responsive system that adjusts music to enhance workout performance, maintaining the user's motivation by ensuring music aligns with their fitness goals.
4. Seamless Device Syncing for Effortless Control
The final milestone aimed at ensuring seamless syncing of the app with various wearable devices, particularly the ArcX smart ring. This feature was designed to provide hands-free control over music during workouts, eliminating distractions. The roadmap's goal here was to refine the integration to ensure that the ring could interact effortlessly with the app, allowing users to adjust music settings without interrupting their activity. The milestone was achieving flawless synchronization between devices for a seamless user experience.
